About Us

Wilkinson Heating Company will soon celebrate 80 years of service to the Logansport/Cass County area.  Our company was founded in 1947 by Loyd Wilkinson, grandfather of current owners Ed and Brad Wilkinson.  Ed and Brad are the third generation to operate the family business.

We started installing/fabricating sheet metal systems and gravity heating systems in the late 40s.  Second generation owners Tad and Clyde Wilkinson took over in the mid-60s and brought us into forced air heating and cooling systems, as well as fabricated sheet metal work.

Ed graduated from Purdue University in 1978 and came back into the business in 1980.  Brad graduated from Indiana University in 1988, coming directly back to Logansport.  Ed and Brad have operated the business together since 1989, with a combined experience of over 70 years.  They are working owners, so don't be surprised when one of them shows up at your door!

As with any service company, the people on our team make the difference.  Here at Wilkinson Heating, our families come first.  After all, isn't this the reason we all get up and go to work each day?

We should call ourselves Wilkinson Service Company, since top-tier service is the only level we offer.  It takes parts, equipment, and skill to build an HVAC system.
